Continuing from where we left off..

Yes, this is just like Leonardo da Vinci's famous hand of God painting, which also combines Leonardo’s secret meaning with his genius.

​

Leonardo da Vinci reveals his meaning through his same understanding of proportions changing through positioning.

​

Look closely at the fingers-

​

Can you see it?

​

​

Leonardo’s meaning is this:

Man only has to barely lift his finger, only a little, to make contact with God.

This means that-

​

In appearance, man has to move his whole body, his arm and his hand to touch divinity..

​

Adam thinks he has to go somewhere, do something, to get to God.

He thinks he has to move from where he is now.

​

Leonardo’s meaning to us is that one doesn’t have to go anywhere else, they only have to change their position.

​

In other words, one only has to reorient..

All they have to do is reorient themselves to another center.

​

What we call, the heart center.

​

​

But why would anyone go to such lengths to illustrate such a simple idea that we hear all the time and that we all already know?

​

And why all of the need for symbolism and imagery to represent meaning we could just say in words?

​

What my experience is with the spiritual search, my answer to this-

​

Is first that meaning can be felt, really felt.

​

And we may know something-

​

But has that knowledge yet connected with our being?

​

Have we felt the meaning with the entirety of our being?

​

Then we might say, that there are things we know, but we may not yet understand, as they say:

​

The full gravity of its importance.

​

Then it can be, that the reason for such striving work in this domain, is not to transmit the full meaning to another—this is impossible.

​

It is demonstrating, indicating its significance through action-

​

To get us to ask the question ourselves:

​

“If this person, if these people, have put so much effort into this, then is it possible that it is of greater importance than I currently know? Could there be more to it?”

​

It is also the case that, through the considering of a symbol to understand a deeper meaning-

Although the symbol does not and cannot contain the meaning itself-

We ourselves - as we are the ones that actually contain the meaning -- can look past a symbols surface level meaning.

​

We begin to grasp that there is a much greater understanding available.

​

More than we ever considered possible.
​
