The Energy Factory (2/2)

Our emotional processing system, if it were properly maintained, can do the job of processing emotion so quickly it appears instantaneous.

This happens in nano-seconds or micro-seconds.

This is not theory, this is what happens when the exit to the system is unblocked. I have experienced it, many others have experienced it, you have experienced it, and many live in it.

Metaphorically the efficiently processing emotional processing system is called an “open heart.”

  • The intellectual processing system, if properly and consciously maintained, also nearly instantaneously processes all incoming sense impressions at the speed of nano-seconds.
  • In the case of this system - the intellectual center - processing is achieved through expanding the awareness to give space for information to flow through, and learning to not halt processing through grasping, clinging, identification.
  • The systems in our vehicle convert fuel into the energy we use to power our human vehicle.

This means we take in emotion as fuel, and if properly functioning, our emotional processing system converts the emotion into energy for our use.

  • The same is true for everything we intake and the appropriate system:
  • food, water, air, and mental information.

Each of these we intake as fuel to convert into energy to power our vehicle.

  • We also have voluntary control over the intake and conversion of fuel that comes into us through the intaking of air.

All of this means that all experience is intended to give us energy.

From a different perspective, our function is to convert experience into energy.

According to Gurdjieff, our (initial) purpose is to create energy for the next stage of planetary evolution..

If we are running at 100% optimal efficiency:

  • We have all of our functions working and available
  • Fully know ourselves
  • And from there our purpose is revealed:

To Create - and Transform.

Perhaps -

Our work, our purpose in life is to continue to perfect perfection.

With Love,

Tyler Choice The Energy Factory (1/2) ↓ If the factory is clogged and dirty the energy cannot cycle through -and without energy properly powering the machine -I am not online. It is all about energy. Gurdjieff talked as though in metaphor about man as an energy factory. Using a metaphor grants one the ability to consider if something might be true, instead of being told it is true and blindly accepting it or unconsciously rejecting it. Gurdjieff’s metaphor is in one sense an overcomplicated...

I'm sitting on the couch. The phone is on the table in front of me on the opposite side of the room. It's running the Forest app for 100 minutes. That means, I am not allowed to use the phone. A feeling comes by that I don't like my life. I reach for the phone to talk to someone online. Oh, right, I can't use the phone. I'm watching the sky. 10 seconds pass. Something crosses my mind. I reach for the phone. Oh, yeah. I go to reach for the phone three more times in the next minute. Now I...
