Overcoming The World (Part 1)

There is not a war between man and the world.

Overcoming the world does not create a master.

Mastery of oneself, who one is, is dependent on a choice.

The choice is between the despair and hope in one's soul.

There is no external enemy.

There is only choosing to believe in the illusions in one's mind about what the story is.

Voices are enchanting storytellers -

Voices are more real the more you believe in them.

If struggled against, they seem solid.

If decided against, they evaporate and their emptiness is revealed.

While many actions are necessary for 'individuation' -

A word that becomes vivified only if the tangible possibility of it exists after developments and is recognized..

Paradoxically, one choice is needed.

And without it, mastery is impossible.

The choice is not even necessary at every moment -

but in a series of moments.

It is not even necessary at every moment, such as one of many moments of perceived powerlessness or hopelessness, but rather the choice is at the next moment, when one decides or believes what they will do about it.

On each false path, false voices from the outside convince the fears of a permanence of false identification -

The choice is in whether you will return in truth and hope -

And on some paths others and yourself may convince you that 'no hope' or 'no truth' is the highest truth - these voices lack soul -

They lack the harmony and resonance in the human soul.

With Love,
