Anyway, most of us are stuck in our problems every day saying, “I don’t know what to do.” “What should I do?”
Did you know that we always know what to do?
That we know what the right answer is to every problem we have?
You probably did. I seem to be late to find out about these things.
I had heard it, but I did not fully understand it until I read “Power vs. Force” by David Hawkins. And even then, it took me about a year after to fully grasp it.
You do know. There’s a response in your body if you listen to it.
(The truth is way more profound than this simplicity. Apparently, all human beings will give the same answers of yes and no on any question you ask them, meaning that Conscience is a shared phenomenon.. anyway.. )
One way to think of this is, we aren't usually tuned into our body.
We aren't usually listening to our body.
I think of it in a more simple way.
We aren't sensing into our own self.
Isn't that kind of a big deal?
When I think about it -
I'm living this one life without sensing my own existence?
It always brings to mind these words,
"Something has to change.
Undeniable dilemma -
Boredom's not a burden -
Anyone should bear.
Constant over-stimulation numbs me..
There's something kinda sad about -
The way that things have come to be.
Desensitized to everything
What became of subtlety?
And how can this mean anything to me -
If I really don't feel anything at all?"
- TOOL
I've disclosed to a few people that in truth, I think we use some shiny words for things that are simple -
For simple things we don't place much value.
That -
The word spiritual also means receptivity.
The word receptivity is comparable to an ability to sense into depths of subtlety.
That spiritual development is also an increased receptivity,
The development of subtlety.
(which happens to open unaccessed functions and abilities.)
There are simpler words to use than that, but they don't hold as much meaning.
When we slow down, take time, we can pause to listen into that sense that knows what to do.
Sometimes these prayers are easier:
What is the most loving way I can approach this current task/situation?
Is this thing that I'm doing the most loving thing I could be doing for myself right now?
p.s. you're doing better than you think you are. you're doing great.
